Refund and Returns Policy

Original Paintings

 

You may return an original painting within 14 days of delivery, provided it was not commissioned and is returned in its original condition and packaging.

All commissioned paintings—those created specifically at your request—are non-returnable and non-refundable, as they are custom works that cannot be resold.

To begin a return, please contact art@bohdansvyrydov.com within 14 days of receiving your order. Once accepted, we will provide detailed return instructions. Items sent back without first contacting us will not be accepted.

 

To be eligible for a refund:

  • The item must be in the same condition you received it.

  • It must be returned in original or equivalent protective packaging.

  • Proof of purchase (such as your order confirmation email) is required.

 

You are responsible for using a reliable courier and ensuring safe packaging for the return. If the item is damaged or lostduring return transit, a refund cannot be issued.

 

 

Prints and Framed Prints

(Print-on-Demand Products)

 

This includes both open edition and limited edition prints.

These items are made-to-order, created specifically for you once an order is placed. They are considered customised goods, and as such cannot be returned, exchanged, or cancelled once production begins.

All sales are final. Please double-check measurements, framing options, and shipping information before placing your order.

 

However, you may be eligible for a replacement or refund if:

  • Your order does not arrive;

  • It arrives damaged during shipping;

  • You receive the wrong item;

  • The item is significantly different from what you ordered.

 

To report an issue, contact art@bohdansvyrydov.com within 24 hours of delivery. Include:

  • Your order number;

  • A description of the issue;

  • Clear photos of the item and packaging.

 

If issues are reported after 24 hours, we may not be able to offer a replacement or refund.

Please do not return items directly to the fine art printer or framer listed on the shipping label. Items returned to the production facility without authorization may be lost or refused, and we cannot guarantee a refund in such cases.

 

 

Other Items

(Non-Custom, Standard Goods)

 

You may return eligible non-custom items within 14 days of receiving your order. The item must be unused, in its original condition, and in original packaging.

Returns must be requested by email at art@bohdansvyrydov.com before the item is sent back. Once approved, you’ll receive return instructions. Items returned without prior approval will not be accepted.

If you’re unsure whether your item qualifies for a return, please contact us before placing your order.

 

We do not accept returns on:

  • Custom-made or personalised items;

  • Sale or discounted items;

  • Gift cards.

 

 

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to exchange an item, we recommend returning the item (if eligible), and placing a new order after your return is accepted.

 

Refund Process

Once we’ve received and inspected your return, we’ll notify you of the outcome. If your refund is approved, it will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Please note:

  • Your bank or credit card provider may require additional time to process the refund;

  • If more than 15 business days have passed since refund approval and you haven’t received your funds, contact us at art@bohdansvyrydov.com.

 

Additional Notes on Returns

  • Packaging & Courier Responsibility: Customers are fully responsible for selecting a safe, trackable shipping method and ensuring secure packaging. We recommend insuring your shipment.

  • Damaged Returns: If the returned item is damaged or not received, no refund will be issued.

  • Shipping Costs: Outbound and return shipping costs are non-refundable. If a refund is granted, return shipping may be deducted from the total.

  • Damages Are Rare: We pack with the utmost care, and damage is very rare. If your order arrives damaged, please notify the courier and document the damage with clear photos, including the packaging.
