DEEP DREAMED TALES
The ‘Deep Dreamed Tales’ series investigates the current state of Natural Language Processing algorithms, charting the frontier where human creativity and artificial intelligence converge. It’s a deep dive into the phenomena that emerge from this unique collaboration, finding beauty in the raw and the bizarre. Furthering this exploration, Bohdan has published a digital art book that narrates the story of this research project, raising questions about the interaction between humans and artificial intelligence, and the possible future it will bring us.

This is a journey, a deep immersion into the artist’s subconscious. Each work is a vivid echo of his inner world. It is a blend, a mix of the strange and the beautiful, fears and moments of stillness.
This world is inhabited by many-eyed creatures from the depths. But sometimes it’s just a look at the calm sky. Like in real life, every day is different, and so are you. This is a visual diary, a glimpse into the artist’s soul. It is a journey of self-discovery, the transformation of abstract thoughts into visual narratives.

A cosmic spectacle, a series of AI-generated animations, each frame a universe reborn, mirroring the ceaseless dance of existence. It’s a dynamic portrayal of energy and matter in constant flux, questioning our perception of beginnings and endings. The project echoes the Big Bang, alluding to a pre-existing negative charge, encouraging reflection on the universe’s enigmas. It’s a blend of creativity and science, a testament to AI’s potential, and a call to embrace the beauty of change.

THE GAME
The project explores the intriguing dance between human creativity and artificial intelligence. Through a series of iterative steps, analog photos are transformed, as hand-drawn sketches are layered and the AI algorithm responds. Each move reveals the algorithm’s attempt to comprehend and replicate, while the human touch persistently adds complexity. The final result is a fascinating visual journey that transcends the original landscape, reflecting a co-creation that challenges the notion of autonomy in art. This project stands as a testament to the intersection of tradition and technology, offering a glimpse into the evolving nature of creativity.

The Structures series is an exploration of the fluidity of time and the delicate balancing act of shifting focus between the present, past, and future. This series invites the viewer to consider the layers of time, as the act of focusing on one moment makes it challenging to see them all at once.

SLOWED BY THE SUN
‘Slowed by the Sun’ is a series of paintings that invite viewers into a world where time is tangible and memories vivid. Born from a personal experience in an abandoned farm, the project explores the interplay of light and dark, past and present. Each piece captures the sensation of slowed time and hidden solitude. Imbued with nostalgia, it draws on childhood memories of observing the world from a safe distance. It’s an exploration of time, memory, and the human condition, reminding us of the beauty in solitude and the transformative power of light.

INTERCONNECTED
We all are living in a society, so we are interconnected. Through the series “Interconnected” I investigate the relationship between individuals in a society and the relationship of a person with itself under the influence of society. Even if, we count ourselves independent persons, it just means, we don’t notice the influence on us. The one-line continuous drawing of people’s faces and objects is a cornerstone element of this series. I use different symbols besides faces, to tell a full story.

EXPERTS
In this series I work with the topic of expertise in the modern environment. The network has created millions of online experts on any issues. Everyone who has a desire and confidence can out-speak his instant opinion. This process shifted the weight of expertise from large institutions and dozens of persons to millions of individual leaders of opinion. Each event usually has two sides of one coin. We received more independent opinions and reduced the influence of dictatorship. But such a large number of independent thoughts makes it rather difficult to choose one thought that can be trusted. There is a high risk of becoming numb in the inability to choose the one truth.
